I have been a ceramics teacher for 7 years at Glenbrook North High School and reside in Chicago. I am fortunate to have a very understanding wife who supports my artwork. It is difficult to find time for my family, job and artwork, but I still feel as excited and challenged sitting down at the wheel after a long day as I did when I first started making pots. I have always had an attachment for "process". I think that the process of making pots (creating forms, surfaces, etc) keeps me coming back. The simple seduction of clay soon gives way to complex challenges I enjoy and the pursuit of growth in my work
